Scope of Work – Kibali Gold Mine Project
  1. Structural Steel Erection of Crusher Platform & Installation of Mechanical Items

    • Fabrication and installation of steel structures for the crusher platform, ensuring stability and durability.
    • Lifting and positioning of steel beams, columns, and support structures.
    • Secure installation of mechanical equipment, including chutes, liners, and impact plates.
    • Alignment and bolting/welding of structural and mechanical components for optimal crusher performance.
  2. Erection of Stockpile Tunnel

    • Assembly and installation of structural steel frameworks for the stockpile tunnel.
    • Reinforcement of tunnel walls and roofing to withstand high material loads.
    • Integration of access walkways, safety railings, and maintenance platforms.
    • Structural testing and quality control inspections to ensure compliance with mining safety standards.
  3. Apron Feeders Platform Construction

    • Fabrication and installation of a platform for apron feeders, ensuring stability for material handling.
    • Positioning and securing of structural steel components for feeder support.
    • Integration of access stairs, platforms, and handrails for maintenance personnel.
    • Load-bearing analysis and reinforcement for heavy-duty operations.
  4. Installation of Mechanical Apron Feeders and Plate Works

    • Placement and secure installation of apron feeders for controlled material flow.
    • Alignment and bolting of mechanical components, including drive systems, rollers, and chains.
    • Installation of plate works, including wear plates and liners for impact resistance.
    • Testing and commissioning to ensure smooth operation and efficiency.
  5. Erecting and Installation of Conveyors

    • Fabrication and erection of conveyor systems for ore and material transport.
    • Installation of conveyor belts, idlers, pulleys, and tensioning systems.
    • Alignment and testing of conveyors to ensure optimal material flow.
    • Integration of safety guards, chutes, and transfer points to prevent material spillage.
  6. Fabrication and Modification Works

    • On-site fabrication of steel components, including custom modifications.
    • Welding, cutting, and reinforcement of structures to meet project specifications.
    • Adjustments and realignments to improve efficiency and durability.
    • Application of protective coatings to prevent corrosion and wear.
  7. HDPE Pipe Welding and Plant Pipe Fitting Works

    • Welding and fabrication of HDPE pipes for fluid and slurry transportation.
    • Use of butt fusion, electrofusion, and extrusion welding techniques to ensure leak-proof connections.
    • Pipe fitting for water, slurry, and compressed air systems within the plant.
    • Hydrostatic pressure testing to confirm pipeline integrity before commissioning.
